James Venture Corp (JVC) (heavy equipment fabrication)– New tenant of the industrial park, JVC sells, services, and manufactures large equipment, primarily rock crushers. Highway 99 Corridor
The city of Gridley offers a unique retail and food-service opportunity with frontage along Highway 99. Highway 99 is heavily traveled, with vehicle traffic of 22,000 and an estimated 48,000 people per day, offering excellent business opportunities.
Recently, the City of Gridley commissioned an extensive study and design exercise as they are planning visual and pedestrian improvements to Highway 99, the major transportation corridor running through Gridley. Nurstech is a highly innovative agricultural firm and the worlds largest supplier of "in vitro" propagated rootstocks and olive plants. Nurstech specializes in olive varieties for high quality olive oil production. A branch of the multinational corporation Agromillora, Nurstech has a 34 acre site in Gridley.
Rio Pluma, LLC is a branch of the Stapleton- Spence Packing Company, which specializes in prune and raisin packing and processing for industrial, foodservice and consumer applications, as well as a full line of nut products.Rio Pluma has a facility on Highway 99 in Gridley.
James Venture Corp (JVC) sells, services, and manufactures large equipment, primarily rock crushers. They custom build components in the shop and repair and service equpment in the field, serving customers from the Oregon border to Kern County and from the coast to Nevada.
Ventana Group is asystems integrator focusing on IT infrastructure management. An acknowledged expert in the design, deployment, and operation of IT Asset Management solutions, Ventana Group provides solutions that encompass all aspects of IT infrastructure management, including systems and network management, help desk, SLA management, problem and change management, and integration with enterprise systems such as SAP. Highway 99 Corridor Highway 99 runs through Gridley, connecting to Sacramento in the south and Chico, Red Bluff, and Interstate 5 to the north. The route is heavily traveled by commuters, business, and leisure travelers, yet traffic moves steadily. Highway 70, I-5 and I-80 are easily accessed as well.

Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital
As a small community, Gridley is very fortunate to be the home of a full service medical facility. Opened in June 1949, Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital serves the communities of Richvale, Biggs, Gridley and Live Oak. Red Suspenders Day & Firemen's Muster Red Suspenders day is held on the third Saturday in May each year in honor of our volunteer firefighters. The day starts with a pancake breakfast and is followed by bed races, an arts & crafts fair, car show, firefighters games, live entertainment, a parade, and other events. Annual Gridley Invitational Basketball Tournament Local, regional and state high school basketball fans anxiously await December for the Annual Gridley Invitational Basketball Tournament to hit the hardwood. Each year the small school of Gridley invites seven of the finest powerhouse teams from northern California's boys' basketball scene to compete in this unique tournament. Started in 1953, the GIBT is one of the longest, if not THE longest, running tournament in the state. The hoop-fest is the highlight of the local and regional boys' basketball season. Gray Lodge Wildlife Area Over 50,000 visitors annually pay a visit to Gray Lodge , a major wildlife stopover on the Pacific Flyway. Located on over 9,100 acres, the refuge is the annual host to millions of geese, ducks, and many other migrating birds. The migration offers a cacophonous, magical spectacle that is not to be missed. The refuge is an intensely managed wetlands and wildlife area; many species of birds including hawks, blue heron, pheasants, and egrets, make the refuge their year-round oasis. Gray Lodge offers a handicap accesssible boardwalk, a driving loop, and photography blinds. Hunting and fishing are allowed in season and are a major part of Gridley's tourist industry. Long closed to outsiders, the Department of Parks and Recreation recently purchased 1,785 acres of the geological wonder and will open it to the public in the future. Known by many names, including Spirit Mountain, Histum Yani, Middle Mountain, Peace Valley and the Sutter Buttes, this towering gem beckons to hikers, bird watchers, archaeologists, geologists, and urban escapees from all over northen California and the western United States. *Official name not yet determined
