Boy ScoutsAny boy is the first through third grade, interested in being in the tiger, wolf, and bear pack……come and join our Boy Scout group. The Dens meet twice a month and the Pack meet once a month, starting in August. Our activities include the Pinewood Derby, Scout-a-rama, parties, nature, and more. There will be a $40.00 fee (membership to Boy Scouts of America) and additional uniform fee to be required.
Teen center hours are after school-5:30 pm Monday-Thursday. Calendar to come. Teen activities include: Air Hockey, Play station, Basketball, Cooking, Sewing, Computers, Movies, and more. Wednesdays are Karaoke day. Come hang out with your friends. Snacks bar available.
To show young people how they can be forces for change and support the development of strong communities, the Great Valley Center offers CATAPULT, a program designed to support and encourage Central Valley youth as future leaders. CATAPULT was started with a grant from The James Irvine Foundation.
The Gridley Recreation Department started the Catapult program in 2007 as program that could benefit the community by taking at risk youth and teaching them how to become a leader, to make positive changes in the community.
